The following letters are just a tiny sampling of what is left of Joel Stone's extensive correspondence and writings. His records can be found in Queen's University Archives at Kingston, Ontario, The Archives of Ontario in Toronto, Ontario, the Baldwin Room of the Toronto Metropolitan Library and the National Archives of Canada. A few letters can also be found in the Archives of the Litchfield Historical Society in Litchfield, Connecticut. The letters presented here are part of the Gananoque Museum Collection.
